Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

X-Men 3

Another benefit of watching two hours of "24" was the trailer for X-Men 3 thrown in. It seemed to have a bit more than the trailer at apple's website.

More of the division between Magneto and Professor X.

Magneto gets a get bad girl. Wonder what her story is. Mystique will kick her ass.

Beast - handsome, handsome, handsome!

Archangel - cute, but I'll take Beast.

I didn't see Nightcrawler - I kinda liked him.

So, which mutant bites it from the funeral scene?

I hate Storm's new hairdo.

Graphic Violence

Gah!! I can't believe the first hour and half of the two hours are almost done. Here's the highlights so far:

What does Mrs. Logan really want with her knight in shining armor Mr. Secret Service agent man (Aaron)? At least she isn't beating around the bush "No, I don't want to see him even if he is the President of the United States".

Suvarov doesn't trust Logan. Don't blame him.

Edgar kicks computer ass.

Tony is finally awake. Though after undergoing surgery, he'd be a lot more sleepy and dopey than he is. Forgot what happened to Michelle, but got to see the satellite photo to fill in the details.

Mike Novak is a little bit of a bastard tonight. Glad he's made up to the first lady later on.

So, they wanted Lyn for a reason. His keycard. Too bad Lyn can't do anything about it. You'd think that his access privs would have been revoked when Section 112 was enacted - opps.

Jack going back for more. I can't believe he shot the wife.

Not too surprised Lyn's sister and loser boyfriend ended up biting a bullet.

Curtis saves the day - again. And looks so good doing it.

The beginning of the medical torture struck me. A glass syringe to inject something. Nobody sane in the medical field would do that unless it would erode a plastic syringe. It's a blood-bourne pathogen incident waiting to happen.

Kim - for as much as she hated to see her dad and be back at CTU, she's not in a hurry to leave.

A shame that people liked Carrie - she might has been wearing a red shirt with a Starfleet logo on it. Wonder if Edgar will feel bad.

Oh, Lyn's little dirty secret is out. It still shouldn't have taken so long to figure it out.

Why does Jack have to go after the "really bad guy"? Oh yeah, because he's Jack Bauer.

So, will Edgar feel bad about Carrie? Will he make it out in time?

Freakish seeing people dropping just outside the glass.

So Kim and Jack are locked in a room together (with a few others). Maybe they'll have to talk to one another.

I can't believe they let Edgar die. There was so much potential for Chloe and Edgar.

what a way to end it...until next week.

Hey Mom....

I look sweet and innocent right now. But I see the pretty tulips in the vase you brought home tonight. I bet they taste yummy. I'll probably wait until they open up a bit more.....

do ALF and PETA still matter?

Before I came to the University, ALF took credit for an overnight attack on a building that housed animal research. Several labs were damaged, and projects ruined by the "liberation" of animals.

Every year since then, we'd be dragged out of our labs for an animal rights security meeting. The lockdown week would be announced, as well as sharing any intelligence the police department had on animal rights activities in the area. Usually around the third week in March, they'd hold a vigil on Thursday night on the grounds where I work.

Two years ago, the campus newspaper reported 11 whole people showed up for the vigil.

Last year, the campus newspaper didn't even have an article about the vigil. There was some confusion about the actual date, which could explain the lack of publicity. We still locked down, but again, nothing happened.

This year, there wasn't even an annoucement of an animal security awareness meeting. I'll ask my animal breeder what she thinks if I see her today.

But it looks like the ALF helped build the coffin for animal rights awareness. The attack began pounding the nails in. I can understand the lack of willingness to associate with a group that initiated such an unprovoked attack. It would have been a prime time for PETA to step in, but they did not.

PETA's more concerned with stopping recreational fishing. I wonder how they feel about sport fishing.

For someone that hates math

I did pretty darn good! I still don't like math that much.
You Passed 8th Grade Math

Congratulations, you got 10/10 correct!

two in a row....

at least it is starting off that way.

Last night, I really couldn't fall asleep until almost midnight. Not sure if it because I slept in Sunday, but I think it was more that I was pissed. Yup, boyfriend sent me some email late yesterday afternoon. And then, nothing. I figured something came up (which it did). But you know you can leave me a fricking message on my voice mail because I turn the phone off at night.

I've decided that it's not the best thing to go to bed angry. It wasn't until I let it go until around midnight that I fell sound asleep.

Then a cute shirt I bought Friday was a piece of crap. Two of the buttons came off as I was trying to unbutton it to put it on. At least the other top I bought at the same store didn't have that problem. But now I'm going to have to stop by that store to return it.

At least my suckage isn't as bad as what's going on with Hassan Adams.
