Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

ucky weekend

Darn it. It's the headache that won't quit.

I woke up with it Saturday morning. It was so painful, that I couldn't bend down without almost feeling like passing out from the pain. I had no patience being the babysitter of a toddler, but managed to keep my temper.

Saturday afternoon before the nephew went down for a nap, I did as well. It helped a bit. By late afternoon, I was able to manage the dinner party and the casino trip afterwards. Went to bed with a bit of headache though.

Tossed and turned all night from the pain. Almost rolled right off the bed from all the tossing and turning. Was able to catch myself before I fell off (which is good because the nightstand would have tried to catch my face).

Still stiff and painful today, but managed to get myself back to Tucson. Perocet took the edge off initially, but is now wearing off. But I'm going to try and hold off an hour before taking more.

The winds are picking up. So I'm hoping it's just a sign that a storm is moving in. All the more reason to wait before taking more pain medicine - it won't matter because nothing will stop the pain until the storm hits and goes.

*sigh* Miss boyfriend and how he takes care of me on days like this.
