X3

So boyfriend and I went to the first showing of X-Men 3 at his favorite movie theatre on Sunday. Theatre wasn't too crowded, there was another showing 10 minutes later, so I don't know if others decided to wait for the next show or not. Besides, I figured most of the fanatics have already seen it at least once.

There was a lot of storylines that they tried to incorporate. So it was overall spread too thin IMHO. High body count considering they didn't kill one of the X-Men before. And with all their storylines, the absence of Nightcrawler and no explanation bugged me.

Will there be another? Based on how it ended (especially after the credits), it's possible. Boyfriend would like to see Gambit introduced to the cast, and I'd like to see Rogue have a bigger role. Oh, and we both would like to see Jubliee (she was given honorable mention in deleted scenes in the prior movies).

This wasn't my favorite of the three movies, but I'm happy it did well. I'd like to see another movie; not too terribly excited about a Wolverine only movie.

spring cleaning

Maybe I'll start to get around to the spring cleaning my place needs.

For now, I'll start here with the blog. Instead of a real picture, I am using the picture that I used to base my tatoo on (blue shark).

Yeah, I'm kinda missing the cool mornings in San Diego and mild afternoons.

Nothing but hot dry air to welcome me back.

I can't bitch too much about it - it's going to push 110 in Phoenix by the weekend. Only 105 here in Tucson.

Cats don't like it because the days of spending all afternoon lounging on the porch are gone until October. Plus they're shedding like crazy for a lighter summer coat. No porch lounging, but laying in front of the air conditioner vent is just as nice.
