Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

Day 2

My second day of work kicked my ass. When I arrived, I saw the delivery truck already there. I had been hearing how this was a record amount of stuff that was ordered. They way they pack totes, it's department specific (for the most part), and can be easily identifed and put in that department.

When I see the floor manager, he sends me to tools. Well, that's the easiest way to figure out all the merchandise. But there's nobody else in the tool department but me. That just pretty much sucks. Lucky for me, I got a helping hand, and the two of us got all but two totes checked through and put away.

My afternoon sunshine was in a bad mood though. So it was a rough slog to get through the day.

But I did it. I even got paid for Wednesday's training day. And I got it direct deposited even though I didn't get the paperwork in until Thursday.

And at the end of the day, I got a message that I got my second call back from a company I had applied at. I think I tried applying for three different jobs, so I'm not sure which one they're calling me about. I'll have to wait until Monday to find out more.
