cautious dance
I got my first job interview!
Not a promise, a real time and place.
I'm slightly cautious for a couple reasons. First, was the HR person couldn't find my resume when I was returning her call. She admitted it, and asked the generic questions. So I don't know if everyone they call is getting an invitation for an interview or not.
It seems like a much larger company than the first company that called me. The bonus is that they have a lab in San Diego, which might make job transferring much easier.
Still, I'm so excited, I'll be lucky if I get any sleep tonight. And since my managers at the retail store KNOW this isn't going to be my career path, he agreed to let me come in at 6:30, leave around 11:00 for the interview and that'll be a day. Since I'm still training, I have some flexibility (nobody's depending on me to run something).
wish me luck....
