Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

I was disappointed with my follow-up appointment with the atlas orthogonal doctor. First the pressure he put on my back for a quick adjustment put a lot of pressure on my implant. Then I left in worse pain that was most likely caused by the treatment. He suggested using ice when I am having some pain on my way out.

It's fustrating that most doctors do not understand how totally unfesiable it would be to do that at work. Sure, there's a large supply of ice. Unless I develop a third arm that could appear when needed, then disappear when not needed, I would be so limited in anything I could do that I'd have to wait until I was done with the ice treatment. I would have to take off work if that continued throughout the day. I say most doctors because I know of one that has a MD/PhD with a PhD from the Microbiology and Immunology department. I think it takes one working in a research lab to understand.

Upcoming is the first weekend where I will not be leaving town since the last five? or so weekends. Fortunately, the pain that flared up this morning after my appointment comes and goes. As intense the pain episodes were today, it was manageable. That's one of the reasons that so far I have no regrets about what I went through.

I am leaving the hats at home now!!! I went to my usual stylist where she touched up the uneven ends and showed me how to style it in a way that works. I have to admit that this is something I've never done before, but I am getting used to it quickly. So I guess this means I go out and paint the town this weekend, eh? ;)

Have a great one everyone....
