Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

Vote these guys out

I had to pick up my jaw from the floor when I first heard about this on a short local radio news bit.

Pima County is paying for water for illegal immigrants.

I know that it doesn't encourage people to cross the border illegally. If anything, a few might actually get to their destination instead of dying in the desert.

I read a few months ago that the county morgue had to get extra storage for unidentified illegals. It takes time to go through the Mexican consulate to try and help identify them.

So when they report that this year there were fewer deaths in the desert than last year, it looks good for the county, right?

But I don't like the concept of assisting a crime. Illegal crossers ARE breaking the law. It's as if we're providing a gun to someone that wants to rob a bank.

The Border Patrol just needs to deploy agents to these water stations and arrest them as they use our tax payer funded water.

I'm tempted to somehow tamper the containers. But that would cost me more money since the county is insistent in providing the water.
