Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

Conversation with cats

Since most of the time, it's just me and the cats, I talk to them.

The cats have given up the "good spot" on the craft shelves. Can't figure out why, and they haven't given me a straight answer. Their new favorite spot they jockey for is a small bookshelf for my textbooks. I put a fluffy towel on it, and a side lamp for extra light at night.

Get home, and lounging on the couch. Adira gets the new "good spot".

"Adira sweetie, you're showing your tummy and you're close to the edge. Move away from the edge."

Curious stare. Big yawn.

"Adira, you're going to fall off."

Closes eyes and goes back to sleep.

Five minutes later....

*crash*

*mad scramble to get traction on towel that is also slipping off the edge*

No terrific crashes to the floor, there's some craft shelves about four inches away, and she got her fluffy butt on those shelves.

"Told you."
