Chebe kinda day
My shipment from Chebe finally showed up today! Three cases of Chebe goodness: one of pizza mix, one of the bread, and one of the cinnamon mix. All for about half the retail price, no tax, and no shipping.
So I was thinking about what I should do with my first round of Chebe mix. The idea of the breadbowl suddenly sounded good. So I took a bread mix, put it in a Corningware round bowl, and made a sub sandwich bread with the rest. And while that was in the oven, I took a mix of the cinnamon roll, and made an equilivant of french toast sticks.
First of all, they're serious about not adding too much milk. I did that with the cinnamon mix, and it was sticky and hard to roll. I settled for forming it instead.
But the breadbowl was just what I needed. A bit of normalacy with the breadbowl, chowder, and a beer. All of it gluten free.
I tried one of the french toast sticks as a desert. A bit crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle. Quite yummy.
