Epidemiology of an infection

I know I've ranted about Wal-Mart in the past, choosing Target as the lesser of two evils (though them banning the Salvation Army's red kettles was very scroogy of them).

I came across this today, and it looks a lot like the outbreak of an infection. Check it out and let me know if you agree with me.
