Life of a former witch

I've outgrown my wicked witch of the west ways. Reflections of life afterwards, living in the desert with two cats, friends, family, and my hot and cold love life.

I decided to start this AM with a tall glass of chai - YUM!! It's my "comfort food". Hopefully, it'll keep me in a positive mood all day.

Okay, finished the season finale of "24" las night. It was about what I had figured would happen. Jack staged his death to convince the President he's dead. I thought it'd end there. But we saw Tony and Michelle revive him, get him out of CTU, and send him on his way. Audrey is left to think of him as dead, but Chole knows the whole story. Compared to other seasons, it's a relatively optimistic ending, and I'll definately tune in January to see the next season, and how Jack will get to come back.

I'm glad they brought back Dennis Haysbert's character of David Palmer. My biggest character gripe was the former Vice-President/President character. Once sworn in, he seemed to be rash, quick to judge, then quick to forgive and forget. I seriously dobt a politician that unstable would ever hold the office of Vice-President. Hopefully we'll see what happens to him in the next season (perhaps impeachment...)

I truly wonder how the writers will be able to top this season. This season we had Defense Secretary kidnapped, a nuclear power plant meltdown, Air Force One shot down, and LA was minutes away from being a nuclear wasteland. I guess that's part of why this show is still around.

The other reason I like the show is the complexity of the characters. To catch all the subtle character development plots, you need to watch every show. (In case you miss one, you can read a timeline of the episode on Fox's website.) I also like how even the "good guys" get dirty to do the right thing, and how there's sacrifices made along the way.

Well, got paperwork to do, and calls to make.
