West coast teams suck!
Okay, the Padres fit that argument. The leader of the NL west, and had a losing record.
But as I'm watching the #1 football team in the country, it's on Fox Sports Net Arizona. Don't know if it's being shown nationwide.
Compared to last week when Arizona was shut out completely, scoring 21 points against USC is pretty good. I'm still not optimistic for a win, but it's been fun watching Arizona make touchdowns. Three quarters are now over, and Arizona has not had a good showing so far in the last quarter. So we'll see.
UPDATE: No big surprise - USC overran Arizona. They tried - make USC cough up a couple turnovers. But for every toughdown Arizona scored, USC scored two. Final score 42-21. The two good things Arizona can take away from the game was that Arizona scored this week, and Arizona made two touchdowns in the second half (Arizona State was shut out in the second half last week).
