It's useful to be gluten-free
I never thought I'd ever say that. But my gluten-free status is actually helpful here at my job.
I don't know all the details, but they're experimenting with low protein diets. And the nutritionist found that a lot of gluten-free foods are low protein. Who knew?
No wonder I go on these protein cravings from time to time....
So, she's been consulting me on what's good and what isn't. Plus, she's been getting samples of gluten-free things (like a whole box or loaf of bread). She takes what she needs and gives me the rest.
Score.
I'm glad they're renewing my contract. Haven't negotiated salary yet, but keep the faith there's a raise in there since training was added to new duties on the contract.
