shopping karma
Sunday morning is always fun. Included in the Sunday paper are the latest coupons. Every weekend I visited, mom and I would sit there and go through the coupons and clip what we wanted. The tradition continues now that I live here. Last Sunday, there were five different books of coupons to go through.
I was really bad about actually using them. I'm better now that I put them in my wallet. But it's always a double bonus when the item is on sale AND you have a coupon for it.
And Fry's is even better because they'll double the coupon if it's under a dollar. A $0.50 coupon becomes a dollar.
When I go shopping with my mom, I run more into the double bonus of sale and coupon. For example, the gluten free Hormel lunch meat was on sale this week at Fry's for $2.50. I had a coupon for $0.55 off that product, and the store almost doubled it to be a total of $1.50
I feel so Jewish. But I'm just happy in that I ran into the same example with Excedrin. After the Excedrin scare, I was very happy to pick up a bottle of it.
